A Look Back at a Vibrant Celebration of Filipino American History Month
The 2nd Annual Filipino American Festival at Harvard Square, held in honor of Filipino American History Month, was a resounding success, captivating attendees on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, from 11 am to 6 pm. This signature event, in partnership with the Harvard Square Business Association's 43rd Annual Oktoberfest and Honk! Parade & Festival, showcased the rich heritage and traditions of the Filipino American community, uniting people through music, dance, and food. Best of all, it was a free event open to everyone.
The festival was an unprecedented cultural extravaganza that delighted attendees of all generations. The event featured live music, spanning different eras to create a harmonious fusion of sounds that celebrated the Filipino American identity.

International vendors offered crafts and items uniquely from the Philippines and Asia, allowing visitors to explore and appreciate the craftsmanship and creativity originating from this part of the world.
